Now that I just found out that the flu season only really hit in February, I hear it's expected to last later than normal. An easy (and tasty!) way to get some extra immune support is with Elderberry. The antioxidant plant lowers cholesterol, improves vision and boosts the immune system. I love having Buddha Tea's Elderberry Tea with a bit of coconut milk once a day. For extra defense I take a teaspoon of the more concentrated black elderberry syrup from Gaia. I also make sure to give half a teaspoon to my 5-year-old daily and she loves it.
